For Any Occasion: Terms & Conditions

Please read these Decor Policies (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”, “Policies”) carefully before using any services provided by For Any Occasion (FAO). Your use of FAO Services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

By commissioning or using For Any Occasion, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you should not use FAO Services. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.

Booking

An event is ONLY considered “booked” after payment (50% deposit or full amount) is made by the due date indicated on service invoice. If the client allows quotes/invoice to expire, it is understood that the event date and time will be made available to other clients, and any discount or special promotion applied will be removed.

Payments & Deposits

The initial payment (50% of the total balance or £150 if the total is unknown) is a Non-refundable retainer fee, which reserves the event date and time, and is required if the event is scheduled more than seven days prior to the event. If your event is booked less than one week, you will be required to pay in full at time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 days prior to the day of your event, delivery or pick-up.  Any framework used will require a deposit which will be outlined in your quote and invoice.  This deposit will be refunded provided the framework is in good repair and returned to For Any Occasion the next working day following the event.

Payments Accepted – Payments can be made with cash, credit or debit card.

Failure to make deposit or payments by the due date or in a timely manner may result in any or all of the following:

  • Invalidation and removal of any applicable discounts, special promotions, complimentary services, etc.
  • The release of event date and time.
  • Termination of the contract.
 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Rescheduling – If the weather or any situation prevents the balloon installation from taking place, the client may reschedule their installation at least 72 hours prior to their event without penalty. The client can reschedule their event within the next 365 calendar days, at the convenience of For Any Occasion, without being charged a fee.  You must notify us immediately in order to secure the new date. If we are not available, the below cancellation policy and fees will apply.

Cancellation — Client maintains the right to cancel at any time, however, a cancellation fee may apply if we purchased supplies to build your decor, started working on your décor or turned down other work to decorate your event. If an event is cancelled one of the following fees applies:

25% Cancellation Fee for orders cancelled MORE than 30 days in advance of the event date, OR

50% Cancellation Fee for orders cancelled LESS than 30 days in advance of the event date, OR

75% cancellation fee for orders cancelled LESS than 15 days in advance of the event date.

100% cancellation fee for orders cancelled LESS than 7 days in advance of the event date.

“Reductions” or “changes” (adding/deleting decor pieces) cannot be made on orders after these terms & conditions have been signed. Colour changes will result in additional charges.

Exchanges, Refunds and Returns

We are unable to accept returns of inflated and personalised orders.  Due to their nature, they are perishable and individually created for each customer, therefore, cannot be reused or resold.  If your items are faulty this does not affect your statutory rights.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, sometimes they may not arrived as intended.  All of our balloons are created by an amazing and talented team who won’t allow items to leave until they are perfect.  Should your balloons end up damaged in transit, please email us a picture of your product within 24 hours and we will see what can be done to rectify the issue.

We are unable to issue discounts or refunds if an image isn’t provided within 24 hours of arrival.

Delivery & Balloon Installations

A Two-hour Minimum is required for any setup on-site. A 3-4 hour Minimum access is required for jobs totalling £750 & up in the room/venue where the event will take place. Our delivery and installation charge fee depends on the location of the event and the complexity of the set-up. This requires additional working hours, travel time, truck rental and staff, in addition to careful work at the moment of handling our equipment.

Arrival – Access to event location must be secured and confirmed by client to ensure timely setup. For Any Occasion will arrive onsite within the hour of installation time specified. For Any Occasion cannot be held responsible for delays (or incomplete décor) if a reasonable amount of time is not allowed to complete décor services as described in this agreement.

Material Guarantee – All materials are guaranteed to be as specified by the manufacturer. If a supplier discontinues a product or manufacturer changes material type, FAO reserves the right to make any last-minute changes (at our discretion based on the availability of materials at the time of the event). We reserve the right to substitute an item of like kind and quality.

For Any Occasion DOES NOT set up tables, chairs or other decorations.

A Delivery & Installation Fee will be added to all orders.

Removal

A removal/clean-up service fee is charged when we return to tear down the decor (pop, pop, pop) and retrieve our equipment. (*This is not required for all events)

All embellishments and framework are the property of For Any Occasion and these items will be collected during the teardown of the event. The customer is fully responsible for providing timely access to the event area for strike and teardown. Should all equipment and materials not be available to retrieve from the location, the customer will be responsible for the replacement costs of the missing equipment or material. Removal/Strike fee is not charged if handled by the client. The client will be responsible for returning to us our equipment the next day after the event.

The client is responsible for all losses due to theft, vandalism, misplacement or damage. In the event that our equipment is damaged, misplaced, or stolen, the Client agrees to be billed for the repair or replacement cost of the item(s).

Indoor Events/Balloon Delivery

We use only the highest quality products and make every possible effort to ensure that your balloons will meet or exceed your expectations.  However, due to the general nature of balloons, we cannot guarantee that balloons will remain perfect and intact.  Some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected and will also be adversely affected by handling, and other uncontrollable factors.

 

Outdoor Events

We use only the highest quality products and make every possible effort to ensure that your décor will meet or exceed your expectations.  However, due to the general nature of balloons, we cannot guarantee that your balloons will remain perfect and intact when used outdoors.  Some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected and will also be adversely affected by wind, rain, rough handling, extreme heat and other uncontrollable factors.

All outdoor performances must be conducted in a safe manner and there must be an indoor rain contingency plan. In the event of cancellation without such a contingency, the customer agrees to compensate For Any Occasion with the full payment.

Helium Balloons outdoors – To get the best use out of Helium-filled designs including bouquets/clusters, arches centrepieces, etc. we strongly recommend that you use them for INDOOR ONLY. Unfortunately, their behaviour and movement are very un-predictable and they are likely to flop around in the wind, lose their form or pop, pop, pop!

Sun Damage – On the off chance that the sun is shining bright enough to cause any damage, it’s worth noting that if left in the sun, the balloon can start to fade. If it’s super-hot, then be sure to know the balloon may pop.

Safety Warnings

Balloons can cause a choking hazard and once the balloons have been delivered For Any Occasion no longer accepts any liability, children should be monitored to ensure they do not suck helium or swallow balloon particles.

Disclaimer: We use professional equipment and material as intended for its particular purpose within all designs. To limit your risk of damage we recommend that all decor and items remain in the position and location they are ordered for, installed in or placed in. Please do not use or place any decor designed for indoor use outdoor or outside of covered 4-wall framed structures.
